A large Elbow Pressure Balanced Expansion Joints (3400 mm diameter and 7800 mm long) plus 3 Universal Tied (2000 mm diameter and 4000 mm long) and 3 Hinged units (2000 mm diameter and 1300 mm long) have been successfully designed, manufactured, tested and shipped to the Saudi Aramco Khurais Mega Project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Located near the Ghawar field in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, the largest oil field in the world, Khurais is one of the last giant fields ever discovered.

The objective of the Khurais expansion program is to increase production capacity at the Khurais Central Processing Facilities (CPF) by 300,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd) from its current capacity of 1,200,000 bpd, as well as to enhance production from the Mazalij and Abu Jifan fields by installation of a satellite Gas Oil Separation Plant (GOSP).
