ASME U Stamped Expansion Joints for the largest Petrochemical Company in Saudi Arabia
Since 1997 MACOGA has been designing and supplying expansion joints in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Div 1 Appendix 26 providing ASME Code Stamp and U-2 Partial Data Reports.
The ASME International Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code establish rules governing the design, fabrication, and inspection of boilers and pressure vessels. The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code is in a class of its own and it is internationally renowned.
On this occasion, our client, one of the world's largest petrochemicals manufacturers awarded the contract for the engineering, fabrication, testing, packing and shipping of one Expansion Joint with the following main features:

MACOGA MRR Expansion Joints are used in cases of high internal pressures and/or equalizing the movement among all the corrugations.
The system involves the use of reinforcement or equalizing rings located around the outside of the convolution thus preventing the bellows being forced out of shape due to the high pressures.
Bellows including reinforcing or equalizing rings can be incorporated to any type of Expansion Joint (Axial, Lateral, Angular, etc.)
