Expansion Joints for major Steel Plant in North Africa

MACOGA has been awarded a contract by a leading steel producer in North Africa for the engineering, manufacture and supply of large metallic expansion joints for its steelmaking facilities.

The order includes the supply of several Metallic Expansion Joints in different configurations, specifically engineered to operate under high-temperature flue gas conditions. The scope comprises multiple expansion joint types, including MFL, MWL, MWC, MWP and MWA designs, covering a wide range of sizes.

The supplied units range from DN 600 up to DN 2200, confirming MACOGA’s capability to deliver large-diameter, high-performance expansion joints for demanding industrial applications. All equipment is manufactured in Spain and delivered in full compliance with the project’s technical and quality requirements.

This project further reinforces MACOGA’s strong presence in the steel and heavy industry sector, supporting critical flue gas systems with reliable, custom-engineered expansion joint solutions.
