Extraordinary work of our On-Site Team. Successful installation of two clamshells in a refinery in Europe
When critical equipment fails, no matter whether it's day or night, on a weekend or during the week, it must be fixed.
Our team of Field Engineers and Technicians have done an outstanding job in very difficult and challenging conditions.
At more than 47 °C (117 °F) ambient temperature plus the heat generated by the FCC catalyst leak, our team successfully completed in record time the installation of two clamshells in hot conditions on an FCC Expansion Joint installed in a European refinery.
During three days of intense and non-stop work, the installation was successfully completed.
Highlights of the project:
- Regenerator Standpipe Expansion Joint
- Installation of 2 x Clamshells DN1400
- Hot Conditions
- 4.46 barg at 550 °C
- Alloy 625 Gr. 1 bellows
We have the best onsite Field Engineers and Technicians with an excellent combination of experience and technical skills.
