We have successfully completed the fabrication and on-site assembly of a High-Pressure Lens Clamshell Expansion Joint in Alloy 625 for a major petrochemical plant in Belgium.

This challenging project was executed flawlessly by our team, who delivered an extraordinary and unmatched on-site performance, solving a major issue for our customer under highly demanding conditions.

The clamshell was designed and manufactured for extreme pressure and temperature service, with the following specifications:

• Design Pressure: 58 barg (841 psi)
• Test Pressure: 84.9 barg (1,231 psi)
• Design Temperature: 297 ºC (567 ºF)
• Material: SB-443 N06625 Gr.1 (2.4856)
