High temperature Jacketed and Pantographic Expansion Joint for leading global steel corporation

We have successfully designed, manufactured, and delivered a high-performance Jacketed Expansion Joint with Pantographic Control for one of the world’s largest and most prestigious steel and mining companies.
In processes where standard insulation systems are insufficient and where the process fluid must be maintained at a strictly controlled temperature, Jacketed Expansion Joints offer the perfect solution. These advanced designs incorporate two concentric bellows, an inner bellow exposed to the process medium and an outer bellow forming a surrounding jacket, which allows for controlled heating or cooling of the internal bellow and the process fluid.
Key features of this unit
The delivered Expansion Joint was custom-engineered to meet the demanding operating conditions of a cutting-edge steel production facility, with the following specifications:
- Type: Jacketed Expansion Joint (MJA Series) with Pantographic Control System
- Nominal Diameter: DN 900 (36”)
- Operating Temperature: 750 °C with peaks up to 900 °C (1382 °F to 1652 °F)
- Design Pressure: 1 bar
- Bellows Material: Stainless Steel 309 (SS309)
