Large size Expansion Joints for Waste to Energy Facility in the UK

As the world leaders in expansion joints for Waste-to-Energy (WtE) and Biomass-to-Energy (BtE) applications, we have successfully designed, manufactured, and shipped a series of large-size universal tied expansion joints for a major Waste-to-Energy plant in the UK. This first shipment consists of high-tech expansion joints with the following features: size 4800 mm, length 3000 mm and 3600 mm, design pressure of 0.5 barg/FV, and a design temperature of 150°C. This achievement highlights our leadership and expertise in delivering cutting-edge solutions for critical energy projects, where reliability and performance are essential.
Energy from Waste facility which is currently under construction at the Lostock Works site near Northwich in Cheshire. The facility will export 70MW of electricity to the grid using residual waste, the waste material remaining once materials that can be recycled have been removed, as a fuel.
MACOGA provides Expansion Joints and services that have been specifically developed to respond to the need of WtE and biomass sectors and we have a complete range of Expansion Joints for these power applications.
