
MACOGA awarded a large contract for a Gas Fired Combined Cycle Plant in the Middle East
We have been awarded a large contract for the engineering, design, manufacturing, testing and shipping of a large number of huge size Expansion Joints for a Gas Fired Combined Cycle Plant in the Middle East.
The facility is the largest new power plant by output to be added to the national grid since 2012. The plant will be able to generate the equivalent power needed to supply more than 6 million households.
With this new project, MACOGA is positioned as the largest supplier of Expansion Joints for the Energy Market in the Middle East.
The type and number of Expansion Joints supplied are:
2 units Turbine to Condenser Dog Bone Expansion Joints 7560 x 5310 mm size
4 units Single Untied MWA Series DN 7400 (24 feet) diameter
12 units Universal Tied MWL Series 3300 mm (118 inch) diameter
12 units Hinged MWP Series 3300 mm (118 inch) diameter
