MACOGA breaks records once again! Emergency FCC Clamshell installation
Our client, a major European refinery, contacted us to inform us that an Expansion Joint in the FCC unit had broken, resulting in leaks and catalytic gas emissions, forcing the refinery to shut down the unit.
In just 5 hours, MACOGA manufactured two clamshells – one same size and another oversize made of Alloy 800 H. Just 8 hours later, our team was on site at the refinery installing the clamshells.
As always, our team worked tirelessly until the installation was completed. Once again, MACOGA exceeded expectations by delivering exceptional and unparalleled on site work.
