MACOGA Expansion Joints for Fertilizers Complex in North Africa
MACOGA has been awarded with the Contract for the supply of a large number of Expansion Joints for fertilizers complex in North Africa.
Many Gimbal, Hinged, Universal untied and Single untied expansion joints in sizes from 600 mm up to 2400 mm diameter for flue gas at temperatures up to 633 °C have been successfully designed, manufactured, tested and shipped from MACOGA in a record time.
This plant is be the biggest complex ever built in the fertilizers sector in North Africa. The Project includes 2 Sulphuric Acid Plants with capacity 1900 MTPD per each, complete sulphur melting & treatment Unit, Heat recovery System, Integrated with Co-generation based on a multi-stage high efficiency, condensing steam turbine for utilization of HP Steam, 46 MWe generation.
