MACOGA has been awarded an order for the design and supply of a big number of Large size Expansion Joints for the Brunswick County Power Station, Virginia, USA.
The order comprises the delivery of 2 Dog Bone units NB 5500 x 6100, 1 Hinged NB 7500, 6 Lateral units NB 2600 mm plus 24 axial MWA units NB 2600. The new plant, of approximately 1,300 megawatt, is being engineered and constructed by Fluor, is expected to be completed by May of 2016 and will produce enough electricity to power more than 325,000 homes.
