MACOGA has been awarded an order for the ICHTHYS LNG Project in Australia.
This job comprises a number of MACOGA MFT Series DN 500 completely made in stainless steel that will operate at cryogenic temperatures up to -175 °C.
The Ichthys Project is operated by INPEX in joint venture with major participant Total and Tokyo Gas, Osaka Gas, Chubu Electric and Toho Gas.
The Project has now entered the construction phase. This process is being managed by JKC Australia LNG. JKC is made up of JGC Corporation, KBR and Chiyoda Corporation. Between the three organizations, they have been responsible for designing and delivering a large percentage of the worlds major oil and gas processing plants, including large-scale LNG facilities across the globe.
