MACOGA obtains new Type Approval as per DNV rules for classification - Ships Pt.5 Ch.7 Liquefied Gas Tankers

All equipment installed and used in the construction and operation of a ship must conform to specific technical standards.

Certification by classification societies makes ships safer and more reliable, as all equipment and components conform to stringent standards approved by international maritime regulations.

This is particularly important for LNG/LPG carriers. Natural gas is a fuel and a combustible substance and to ensure safe and reliable operation, special measures are taken in the design, construction and operation of Expansion Joints used in LNG facilities and carriers.

MACOGA Expansion Joints are certified by the world's leading classification authorities and on this occasion, we have obtained the Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Type Approval Certificate as per DNV rules for classification - Ships Pt.5 Ch.7 Liquefied gas tankers.
