May 2011 - Expansion Joints for the Unosugen CCGT Power Project in Gujarat, India
A set of one MWD Universal Un-Tied DN4900 and one MWA Single Axial DN4900 Expansion Joints have been delivered to the Unosugen CCGT power project in Gujarat, India.
Torrent Power is setting up a standalone power project with a capacity of 382 MW at its existing SUGEN Power Plant site. The new project, called the UNOSUGEN Project, will increase the total generation from the SUGEN Plant site to 1530 MW when commissioned. The EPC contract for setting up UNOSUGEN has been awarded to Siemens.
