Refractory lined Hinged Expansion Joints for 1000 °C for a Midrex Steel Plant in the Middle East
We have successfully completed the design and manufacture a set of Hinged Expansion Joints engineered to operate at extreme temperatures of up to 1000 °C. This high-performance unit has been delivered for installation in a Midrex-based steel production facility located in the Middle East.
Designed to absorb angular movement while withstanding high-pressure and high-temperature conditions, this custom-built expansion joints include a special internal refractory lining specifically developed to resist the extreme thermal demands of the application. The refractory enhances the joint’s durability and thermal insulation, ensuring optimal performance under continuous exposure to 1000 °C.
