On this occasion a petrochemical company from Northern Europe awarded MACOGA with the revamping of a Double Articulated MFK + MRR DN 44” (1100 mm) Expansion Joint.
The challenge this project has posed has been the short timeframe available for the manufacturing and heat treatment of the bellows and the difficulties involved in assembling the new parts on the existing hardware. In fact, the entire process was completed in a week.
The contract includes the manufacture and replacement of the Alloy C276 (2.4819) UNS N10276 bellows for new ones, and manufacture and installation of reinforcing rings in AISI 304/304H

- Size: 1100 mm (44”)
- Double bellows in Alloy C276 (2.4819) Heat Treated Solution Annealed (1150 ºC) after forming
- Reinforcing rings in AISI 304/304H
- Design internal pressure: 20 Barg
- Test Pressure: 42,76 Barg
- Design temperature for bellows: 527 ºC / - 22 °C
- Medium: Process Gas
