Description of the works:

We provide our clients expert assistance when and where it is required.

For those Expansion Joints that due to its size are not transportable in one piece, we offer our customers the Assembly Package.

This time we successfully provided our client with the assembly of a very large Hinged Expansion Joint DN7600 (300”) supplied in 2 halves (at 180º), with bellows and supporting structure welded to the duct and 2 dog bone expansion joints 5500 x 6100 mm. These units were not transportable in one piece, so our specialists moved to the site in Virginia, US to assemble the different sections of the Expansion Joints.

The order comprises the delivery of 2 Dog Bone units NB 5500 x 6100, one Hinged NB7600, two Hinged DN1400, one Gimbal DN1400, 6 Lateral units NB2600 mm plus 24 axial MWA units NB2600.

The new plant, of approximately 1,300 megawatt, is being engineered and constructed by Fluor, is expected to be completed by May of 2016 and will produce enough electricity to power more than 325,000 homes.
