Titanium Double Hinged and large size Hinged Expansion Joints for the world’s leading steel and mining company

A Double Hinged MFY Series Expansion Joint has been manufactured completely in Titanium ASTM B 265 Gr 2 / W-Nr: 3.7035 material. Titanium Grade 2 is a pure titanium offering an excellent balance of strength and ductility.

It is generally used in aircraft skins and equipment, marine and chemical equipment, and cryogenic vessels. Titanium Grade 2 combines excellent formability and moderate strength with superior corrosion resistance.

The Expansion Joint will be installed at the system for desulfurization of ammonia condensates from the furnace.

Additionally, the project includes two units Hinged Expansion Joints, DN 2000 for 8 bar operating pressure.
