Two massive 47-tonne Expansion Joints for a Power Project in Abu Dhabi

We have successfully manufactured two massive rectangular Expansion Joints for the Taweelah power project in the United Arab Emirates.

Each unit measures 8,734 × 6,089 mm and weighs approximately 47 tonnes. Due to their exceptional dimensions, the Expansion Joints will be transported in sections and assembled on site in the UAE.

The units incorporate AISI 321 bellows, AISI 304/304L internal sleeves and carbon-steel structural components. Their design allows them to absorb thermal and settlement movements in both the long and short directions.

The complete manufacturing process included extensive NDT and dimensional inspections to meet the demanding quality requirements of the project.
