We have successfully designed, manufactured, tested, packed, shipped and delivered three FCC Expansion Joints for a large Petrochemical Corporation in the Far East. Expansion Joints have been manufactured and tested according to UOP and Customer’s Specifications.

The client is principally engaged in the refining and distribution of oil products such as naphtha, gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, kerosene, fuel oil and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG); petrochemical basic materials, such as ethylene, propylene and butadiene.

Main mechanical design, parameters and features of the expansion joint supplied are:

1 unit FLUE GAS LINE – GIMBAL N.D. 90” (COLD WALL)

  • Inconel 625 LCF bellows – 2 ply testable – Sealed system ss309
  • Refractory lining RESCO 17EC
  • Resco AA22S erosion resistant, single component refractory
  • Hexagonal Mesh SA 240 304H
  • Design Pressure: 3.8 barg       
  • Design Temperature: 538 °C
  • Medium: Flue Gas

1 unit FLUE GAS LINE – GIMBAL N.D. 66” (HOT WALL)

  • Inconel 625 LCF bellows – 2 ply testable – Sealed system SS309
  • Design Pressure: 3.2 barg       
  • Design Temperature: 538 °C
  • Medium: Flue Gas

1 unit FLUE GAS LINE – HINGED N.D. 66” (HOT WALL)

  • Expansion joint supplied with 4° angular preset
  • Inconel 625 LCF bellows – 2 ply testable – Sealed system SS309
  • Design Pressure: 3.2 barg       
  • Design Temperature: 538 °C
  • Medium: Flue Gas
